This year there is something NEW for the Sr. High Youth at First United; a Sr. High Youth Leadership Team! Being a part of the leadership team means that they’ll learn leadership skills, grow deeper in their faith, learn what your Spiritual Gifts are, how to lead activities, games and Bible studies for the younger youth and they’ll have LOADS of fun while doing it all.
If you are a youth, or know of one, that would be interested in being a part of this team, please let either Pastor Sean or Kristin Johnson know. Then on Sunday, September 26th we’ll have our first retreat. We will meet at the church at 4pm. We will then head to the University Lutheran Student Center near campus where we’ll do some leadership building games, activities, Bible Studies and of course eat some yummy food. We’ll be back to church around 7pm.
